What is Social & Community Participation?
Social and community participation enables you to pursue the recreational activities that you enjoy and engage with the broader community. NDIS funding for social and community participation can be found in both the core and capacity parts of your NDIS Plan. Core funding covers the support participants need to meet goals relating to participating in community, social or recreational activities. Capacity funding covers things such as coaching, camps and classes that help build skills and independence.
